I am a Quran teacher, with a specialization in teaching Tajweed, the rules of Quranic recitation. I like to engage my students using different modalities so that all of their senses are used. Along with presentations, I use different aids in delivering the material. I work to make the hard material easier to learn and apply. I love seeing non-native Arabic students accomplish their goals and being able to recite properly, it is amazing to be part of their journey. My reason for teaching has always been the Hadith of the messenger of Allah PBUH when he said: “The best of you are those who have learned Quran and taught it,” and also when he said, “It’ll be said to the reader of Quran: read and ascend as you used to read in the worldly life, your rank is at the last verse you read.” I pray for all my students the same reward.
Each IQRA instructor is a certified professional as an Arabic tutor online or an online Quran tutor trained to teach you and your family. Our instructors offer excellent command of the recitation and memorization of the Quran and are skilled in Arabic grammar.
