Summary

The methodology of Aqeedah course and the foundations of religion aim to know Allah, love Him, and obey Him in the manner He pleases. This involves establishing the constants of religion in the soul, instilling the love for the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and following his guidance through intellectual, rational, then psychological and doctrinal approaches. This is divided into four stages: a preliminary stage followed by three progressive levels based on practical applications, reviews, and periodic tests. Our motto here is: What a Muslim cannot afford to be ignorant of in matters of his religion and worldly life.

Description

The Aqeedah course and the Pillars of Islam are divided into four stages:


Preliminary Level for Children:

Suitable for children to establish their understanding of Allah and His Messenger, their love for them, knowledge of the Companions, the adoption of Islamic manners, leading up to the performance of prayer and mastering the pillars of Islam and faith in Allah, within two levels.

Beginner Stage:

Suitable for youth, it lays the foundation for attachment to Allah, contemplation of His words, and the practical reflection of this in their lives, within three levels.

Intermediate Stage:

Involves the study of the life of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and his morals in an educational and analytical manner aimed at emulating him, within three levels.

Advanced Stage:

Mastery of worship for Allah in the manner that pleases Him and adherence to His teachings in transactions, within three levels.

Prerequisites

Aqeedah Course Requirements:

A graduated curriculum suitable for all ages, starting from five years old. To achieve the objectives of the Aqeedah course, the following is required from the student:

  • Proficiency in Arabic or English.

  • The ability to communicate remotely

  • Not skipping a stage at the expense of another unless after successfully completing the stage through its full study or by passing its specific test.

  • Giving this study priority before expanding into other Islamic studies.

Preliminary Level for Children

LEVELS: 2 DURATION: 75 Hours

Summary:
  • Knowing Allah and His attributes
  • Loving Allah
  • Loving prophet Mohamed, peace be upon him, and his Companions
  • Adhering to good morals

  • Pillars of Islam and Faith
  • Doing good deeds and avoiding bad ones
The Essence of True Devotion

Understanding Allah, loving Him, and obeying Him in topics that revolve around: knowing the Creator through His creation and the true love for Him, manifested in adhering to His commands and avoiding what He has forbidden, using visual interactive materials suitable for this age group.

Islamic Principles

  • Core Topics: Understanding Allah, His love, and obedience, focusing on Tawhid (monotheism), Iman (faith), Islam, and Ihsan (excellence in worship).
  • Material and Approach: Exploring the concept of brotherhood among Muslims through age-appropriate visual and interactive materials.

Aqeedah and Pillars of Islam- beginner Level

LEVELS: 3 DURATION: 90 Hours

Summary:
  • Understanding the difference between the Creator and the creation.
  • How do we love Allah and His Messenger?
  • How do we worship Allah and call upon Him?
  • Knowledge of the five pillars of Islam.
  • Understanding faith in Allah, Islam, and Ihsan.
  • Excerpts from the Prophetic Biography.
  • Adherence to what Allah has commanded as lawful and avoiding what He has forbidden as unlawful.
  • Avoiding sins of all kinds.
  • Attachment to the Holy Quran and acting upon its teachings.
  • Contemplating certain verses and hadiths.
Exploring Allah and Islamic Foundations

Understanding Allah, His love, and obedience in topics centered around:

  • knowing the Creator, adhering to His commands and abstaining from what He has prohibited, and having firm conviction that He is the owner of everything, hence we call upon no one but Him. This module also focuses on the five pillars of Islam, using visual and interactive materials suitable for this age group.
Pathways of Faith: Understanding Mercy and Justice in Islam

  • Faith and Divine Justice: Understanding Ihsan and Allah's Mercy" - Focusing on the depth of faith and excellence in worship, and learning about the merciful and just nature of Allah. Emphasizing the importance of pure intentions in accordance with Allah's commands.
  • Guidance and Rectitude: Navigating Sins and Virtues" - Discussing essential topics such as steering clear of sins, the significance of repentance, and the principles of promoting good and preventing evil in Islamic teachings.
Pathways of Faith: Understanding Mercy and Justice in Islam

  • A knowledge journey about the Holy Quran, its revelation, the necessity of revelation in our lives, the reasons behind its descent, and elucidating the virtue of the Quran and the etiquette of its recitation.
  • The focus is on the proper way to understand the meanings of the Holy Quran through a review of the principles of Tafsir (exegesis) and the interpreters, to achieve the intended goal of acting upon what the Quran dictates.

Aqeedah and Pillars of Islam- Intermediate Level

LEVELS: 3 DURATION: 90 Hours

Summary: Love for the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, stemming from the love of Allah, in topics focused on:
  • adopting the manners of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him
  • Following his Sunnah, and understanding his morals, with a focus on educational aspects in his biography, peace be upon him, to make him a good example as our Lord, the Exalted, said: 'Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah, you have a good example.
Living the Sunnah

  • Understanding the Morals: Exploring the ethical teachings and values exemplified by the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.
  • Application in Life: Learning how to apply these morals across different areas of daily life.
Applying the Prophet’s Teachings in Modern Life

  • Historical Insight: Gaining knowledge about the events and occurrences in the Prophet's biography, peace be upon him.
  • Practical Application: Deep analysis of these events to enable students to implement the learned lessons in their everyday life.
Wisdom of the Prophet

  • Educational Focus: Concentrating on the instructional elements in the Prophet's biography, peace be upon him, to highlight valuable lessons.
  • Clarity and Accessibility: Presenting these aspects in a clear manner to ensure ease of understanding and practical application for students.

Aqeedah and Pillars of Islam - Advanced Level

LEVELS: 3 DURATION: 90 Hours

Summary:
  • Equipping students with the necessary religious and jurisprudential knowledge to master worship in the manner pleasing to Allah, and to adhere to His teachings in dealings.
  • Islamic jurisprudence forms the general framework that organizes a Muslim's life in all its aspects. It guides the Muslim on how to worship Allah Almighty and how to manage relationships with others, to be a true obedient Muslim to Allah.
The Pillars of Worship

  • Worship Foundations: Covering what is essential for a Muslim to worship Allah as He intended, focusing on the overarching principles and intentions.
  • Detailed Practices: Deep exploration into specific acts of worship like purification, prayer, fasting, zakat (almsgiving), and hajj, including their respective rulings and guidelines.
Islamic Financial Transactions

To organize the individual's relations with others and preserve the rights of the parties in various dealings such as buying, selling, mortgaging, partnerships, and the rulings related to these matters.

Principles of Islamic Penal Law

Section of Criminal Law and Penalties: Aimed at deterring the oppressor and providing justice for the oppressed, along with the related rulings and issues.
