Summary

Islamic Faith is one of the main pillars in Islamic studies, So The Qur’an has given it special attention, as more than four-fifths of its verses talk about the creed, its origins, and manifestations. Therefore, creed curricula at Iqraa network were based on establishing religious constants in people’s hearts of all ages through two curricula: the first is electronic and interactive, and the second relied on authentic sources in creed books learned by the majority of students in schools and universities.

Description

The curriculum has 3 levels:

Beginner level: It covers learners from the age of 5 years, an interactive curriculum, prepared by the Iqra network in Arabic and English, includes activities and exercises on God Almighty, His Names, His Attributes, and the effect of that on human behavior.
Intermediate level: A student will study the Islamic faith book for Sheikh Omar Suleiman Al-Ashqa; a series about belief in Allah, angels, messengers, the Last Day, and the Day of Resurrection.
Advanced level: A student will study ancient faith books, training to read its language through the book “Explanation of the Tahaawiyah Creed” the book “Lama’ al-Alidah fi Qawaeid ‘Ahl al-Sunnah” by Imam al-Juwayni.

Prerequisites

Prerequisites vary according to the level a student will join, his age, and he should be good at Arabic or English; Because our curricula are taught in these two languages so far.

Beginner Level Prerequisites:

A student should be at least 6 years old.
A student should be good at Arabic or English.

Elementary Level Prerequisites:

A student should be at least 15 years old.
A student should be good at Arabic or English.

Advanced Level Prerequisites:

A student should be at least 18 years old.
A student should be pass a test confirming: he is able to read and write in Arabic or English.

Level 1 Beginner

Beginner Creed Summary Training will be on:
By the end of this level the student will learn:

The Most Beautiful Names and Attributes of Allah Almighty.
Apply what he has learned from the pillars of faith and Islam in his practical life.

Level 1

Muslim Child’s Belief

A study of the faith most important principles, such as the of GOD’s unification and seeking help from Him, and Islam pillars meaning.

Level 2

Belief and Ethics

Studying the creedal aspect and linking it to morals, such as: Faith, Charity, Knowledge of what is permissible or forbidden, mercy and justice meanings.

Level 3

Faith Pillars and its Invalidators

A study of faith pillars, its invalidities, and how to avoid all kinds polytheism such as hypocrisy, seeking blessing from graves and other Aqidah issues.

Level 2 Intermediate

Levels: 3

Duration: 30

Intermediate Creed Summary Training will be on:

General definition of the Islamic religion.
Explanation of the suspicions of atheists and responding to them .

Explanation of faith origins

Studying the “Explanation of the Origins of Faith” book by Sheikh Muhammad bin Uthaymeen.

Level 2

Tahawiyyah Creed 1

Studying the Tahawiyah Creed book.

Level 3

Tahawiyyah Creed 2

Studying the Tahawiyah Creed book.

Level 3 Advanced

Levels: 3

Duration: 20

Advanced Creed Summary: Training will be on:

The language of books of faith in heritage.
Explanation of the Tahawiyah Creed.

Level 1

Islamic Studies 1 in English

By the end of this course, the student will be able to: Know the pillars of Iman, which are The belief in the existence of Allah “The Almighty” and his angels, his Books, and his Messengers, Learn some of the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad(PBUH), Discusses what is presented to him, be able to discuss the ideas he is studying.

Level 2

Islamic Studies 2 in English

By the end of this level, the student will have learned some principles of Islamic creed, The Qur’an, Seerah, Hadith, and some Islamic morals.

Level 3

Islamic Studies 3 in English

By the end of this level, the student will have known: The rules of acts of worship related to Salah, Zakah and Siyam, Islamic etiquettes and good morals, Some stories of the prophets and companions.

Do your classes fit my schedule?

Yes. You pick the time that suits you best. Teachers are available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

Are the lessons pre-recorded?

No. All lessons are live and one-on-one with a teacher.

Can I pick my own classes?

Yes. You will work with an academic advisor and coach to best pick the syllabus that fits your goals and needs.

Who made the curriculum?

Our syllabus and adaptive curriculum was rigorously researched and developed by our Academic team, led by a PhD educator, Al-Azhar Sheikh and scholar, and many teachers that have implemented the curriculum and tested it in practice. It is proprietary for IQRA students only.
