Prerequisites

Online Quran Memorization Course

Prerequisites for our Quran memorization course vary based on the level and age of the student. However, regardless of the level, certain fundamental skills are required. These prerequisites ensure a smooth learning experience and successful Quran memorization.

General Prerequisites:

Ability to read from the Qur'an.
Familiarity with some recitation rules.
Capability to imitate the Sheikh (Quranic teacher).

"Readiness Level" - The Introductory Short Surahs:

Before enrolling in our Introductory Level, students must demonstrate their readiness by passing a test that confirms their ability to read words from the Quran (Mus'haf).

"Amma Achiever" (Juz' Amma) To enter this Level , students should pass a test that confirms the following:

A student should pass a test that confirms:

Proficiency in reading words and sentences from the Quran.
Awareness of rules such as Ghunnah and Qalqalah.

"Tabarak Trailblazer" - Level 2 (Juz' Tabarak) students need to pass a test confirming the following:

Proficiency in reading words from the Quran (Mus'haf).
Familiarity with basic Tajweed rules, including Noon Saakin, Meem Saakin, Mawdud, and Qalqalah.
Full knowledge of the articulation points (Makharij) of Arabic letters, accurate pronunciation, and the ability to distinguish between correct and incorrect pronunciation.

"Online Quran Memorization Pro": For the advanced Level 3, students should be:

Proficient in all Tajweed rules.
Capable of reading correctly from the Mus'haf.
Able to explain Tajweed principles both theoretically and practically.
